1 to get everything ready to render. Very late nights. Tonight I don't expect to sleep before 5am.
1 to actually render. Fortunately we aren't going too heavy on the effects.
1 for compositing and sound recording. No lip syncing sure helps.
1 for if things go horribly wrong.

Then, graduation dinner. Followed by much potential stress, and Christmas.

I'm stressed and I'm feeling it, but I'm not the type to get abrasive when stressed. Lets hope things fall together.

Lucky duck, I've only got concept art to go with. :P Looking at the school you go to...jeez I wish I were a Kiwi, it looks like just the kind of place I would have wanted to go, with the whole media/ministry thing. How much is it costing you?

Zero interest student loan, and it's about 10k NZD (7k US?) per year including food and accom. Heavily government subsidised :D

Loving it. The art director from the studio onsite is coming on Monday to see my work too, just found out. Didn't even have to ask. Honestly I could not be happier with this place.

Thought I'd reply here before a mod gets upset about derailing the thread. ;)

No kidding, it seems like all the job openings I can find require working knowledge of Maya and/or Zbrush... >_< Zbrush is fun but difficult to master, and Maya's just out of my league right now. I have so much to learn.

Haha, I have the same problem with female characters, and for the same reasons I might assume. All the females in my portfolio are androids of some kind. XD Definitely one thing I'm going to have to get down at some point.

You got any leads for work after you graduate? I wouldn't think NZ has that much in the way of gaming studios...though then again I would just about kill to work at Weta Digital.
